A Unity Movement is a unified church walking and working together in the city/region to see social, spiritual, cultural, and church transformation.
HOW DO WE SUPPORT A UNITY MOVEMENT?
The support City to City brings to the Unity Movement landscape across Australia includes:
1. Supporting local Unity Movements through
Creating communication conduit for shared stories and learnings
Developing and sharing resources
Assistance in understanding and navigating their journey
Design and review of strategic gatherings – the tables
Discernment planning support
Coaching
Creating fundraising support opportunities and resources
Enabling communication with Parachurch movements
The understanding and implementation of the movement journey map and 8 strategic pillars within their context
2. Assistance in gathering and launching new Unity Movements in local areas
3. Creating relationships with Parachurch movements to connect with local movements (when appropriate)
4. Assisting denominational understanding and engagement with Movement
5. Developing resources to support the journey
6. Researching and developing funding opportunities
7. Finding ways to share the stories of movement, that its beauty may be seen by a wide Christian audience
