INTRODUCING INCUBATOR PLUS
The Incubator PLUS units apply the principles introduced in the Incubator CORE to specific aspects of mission and ministry. These units provide an opportunity to engage more fully with the topic with an opportunity to develop specific, contextual application, along with feedback from a cohort of peers as well as specialist trainers. They are offered across either one semester or a whole year.
We currently offer the following Incubator PLUS units:
THEOLOGICAL ANTHROPOLOGY OF THE HEART
If it’s true that what the heart desires, the will chooses and the mind justifies (and the body does and the guts feel good about), how then do we minister?
One of the most important - and most contested - areas of theology, which has direct and powerful significance for ministry practice, is theological anthropology - who and what exactly are the people to whom we mission and minister?
This reading group incubator will explore with both depth and breadth the reality, function and priority of the heart in Scripture, theology and ministry practice. And our analysis of the heart and its desires will be extended to the intersection of desire and economics, politics and of course sexuality. If you are wanting to deepen your capacity to be a ‘physician of the soul’, this is the reading group for you.

TRANSFORMATIONAL Preaching
As a preacher do you want to grow in your insight and ability to lead people to love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, preaching not only for information, but for transformation?
Do you want to naturally speak to the questions and longings of believers and unbelievers in every sermon?
Preaching is vital to the life and health of God's people. Christian leaders need to continually grow in their ability to faithfully handle the Bible and communicate its message effectively, so that Jesus is proclaimed in a way that connects deeply with all those who hear.
The Transformational Preaching Incubator PLUS unit offered by City to City Australia equips preachers for that task. Over 4 full day modules, you'll gain clarity and be equipped to achieve grace–enabled transformation through your preaching. You will engage together with others, analysing and critiquing sermons, your own and those of others, to enable you to apply what you are learning to your actual sermons.
MODULES
Module 1: Grace-Centred Preaching
Module 2: Preaching to the Heart
Module 3: Preaching to the Culture
Module 4: Preaching Christ
We hope to make this course available in Semester 1, 2025. If you are interested, please contact City to City Australia at training@citytocityaustralia.org.au to register your interest and find out about potential locations and dates.

Developing Gospel Leaders
As the end of the year approaches, many ministers have the same thought as the previous year - ‘where am I going to get the leaders we need for next year!’ Raising up, inspiring, equipping, resourcing and coaching leaders in a church is one of the most important things a minister can do. It’s fundamental to a church’s health and growth.
However, it is so often neglected.
The Developing Gospel Leaders Incubator will equip you with the mindset, skills and the practical tools to develop and sustain a highly functional leadership pipeline for the church you serve. The material will be covered over 8 half days across the year, allowing time for implementation and review amongst a cohort of peers.
As an option, you can elect to add a one-on-one coaching element to the program, with a City to City Australia trained coach/consultant working specifically with you throughout the year.
If architecting and creating a leadership pipeline is the next step for your church, this is the course for you.
We hope to make this course available in Semester 1, 2025. If you are interested, please contact City to City Australia at training@citytocityaustralia.org.au to register your interest and find out about potential locations and dates.
