EXECUTIVE
CHRIS ENGLAND, Executive General Manager
Chris is the Executive General Manager (EGM) of City to City Australia. Chris has spent 21 years at Wesley Mission (a large Christian not-for-profit organisation, based in Sydney, with a $280m annual turnover). He recently finished in his role there as Chief Operating Officer, as well as being a member of the executive team. Chris loves Christ, has a ‘city mindset’, and has deep experience both in the church and corporate space. Chris will lead the business functions at CTCA: staffing and HR, budgeting and finance functions, systems and processes, spearheading new growth into what CTCA does best. Chris knows how to get things done, and with grace and kindness too.
ANDREW KATAY, Executive for Content and Ministry
Andrew is City to City Australia’s Executive for Content and Ministry (ECM) and the Director of Coaching, and closely works with the EGM in this shared executive leadership structure. Andrew is responsible for ministry matters, oversight of content in the various programs of CTCA, network and movement, and promoting the work of CTCA to ministers and donors. This role enables him to work across denominational boundaries to be part of seeing a Gospel movement take hold of cities across Australia, which is a driving passion for Andrew.
Andrew is also the Senior Minister of Christ Church Inner West, a multi-site church in Sydney's Inner West, where he commenced over ten years ago. He has considerable experience in University ministries and has served as Chaplain to Sydney University.
He is married to Catriona and they have three adult children. The things that animate Andrew are sharing the Gospel, seeing God’s grace at work in the community of the Church as well as in the wider community through cultural renewal, and when he has time, a decent game of golf.
