Green Square Sydney to see another new light on the hill

More Exciting News! Another church plant in the City to City Australia network is getting ready to launch on Sunday 19 March.

Jeremy Tan will be leading a new Presbyterian church in Green Square Sydney called Redemption Hill. Partnering with a number of other churches, Jeremy says,

"it's been a great joy to see God gather a group of people of different ages, backgrounds and church experience, Presbyterians, Baptists, Anglicans, gifts, passions, and personalities who have come together with a shared desire to plant a new church, reaching new people, as we join Jesus in what he is doing as He builds his church."

Asked why another church in Green Square, Jeremy answers,

"Green Square is the fastest growing area in the city of Sydney. Over the next 15-20 years, there will be 40,000 people moving into the area. This means that by 2036, there will be 61,000 people living in Green Square. And so, if 100 churches were planted tomorrow and each grew to 100 people - that's 10,000 people - we'd still have a long, long way to go to reaching everyone with the Gospel!"
