Thank you for your participation at Building Momentum!

Praise God for the tremendous time of prayer, unity and engagement with a really diverse, senior group of leaders.

Of the 110 people that attended, we hosted representatives from across many major denominational churches and organisations across Australia. We praise God that we were able to maintain and promote unity, and to come out of the days with a focused vision that has been further sharpened by your leadership at Building Momentum.

We were really thrilled with how the conference went, and the way in which the Holy Spirit moved amongst us as we prayed and discussed together.

‘It Takes a Movement’

What next?

As the initial outcome of the conference, if you have the capacity and perspective to contribute to a National Movement Working Group, please make contact via email by Friday 18 March.

In terms of the agenda of the National Movement Working Group, key items will include, for example: the model and structure of movement raised at the conference, building on the beginnings of state-based initiatives that were discussed, mapping of sub-cities and particularly, where catalysts are already in place gathering Christian leaders in their area in mission, as well as where there are gaps.

In addition, as you personally continue to process the conference, you might like to prayerfully consider the level at which your own contribution could be best deployed, nationally, or at a state, city or sub-city level.

The National Movement Working Group will meet via zoom before Easter, to agree on a set of timelines and next steps.

If you do have specific questions, or comment around the conference, or to have a discussion around how your skills might be best utilized, please get in touch.

cities and sub-cities

Click the video below to hear the talk that was delivered by Andrew Katay at the conference. Andrew outlines a possible strategy for seeing gospel movements in Australia, by identifying mission units (sub-cities) and empowering a catalyst to draw together the Christian leaders in those sub-cities to take responsibility for both gospel multiplication and city transformation.
